History

History

Complete Risk Management International Pty Ltd (CRMI) was registered as a security provider in 1998 specialising in high quality, highly visible and technical corporate security operations. Based on Managing Director Kim Langton’s long experience with “5 Star” hospitality security, CRMI were the first security company in Australia to promote a “Corporate Security” style of operations.

CRMI has proven experience in producing complex site policy and procedural documents, implementing fire and OH&S audit systems, and “Predictive Profiling” site-specific security training. CRMI offers expert 24 hour security operational support and advice to meet the individual needs and professional settings of a wide client base.

Kim Langton is the Managing Director of Complete Risk management International Pty Ltd and Managing Partner of Chameleon Associates for the Australian Pacific region. Kim has trained and worked extensively with Chameleon Associates in the USA, Israel, NZ, PNG and Singapore on Israeli security methodology, specifically predictive profiling, red teaming and security engineering within high threat environments. Kim has over 30 years security and emergency services experience, including service with the Royal Australian Navy, Victorian, Queensland and NSW Fire and Ambulance Services and senior management positions within the Australian security industry. For a period of 10 years Kim was employed predominantly within hospitality, holding Security/Safety Management positions with the Sheraton and Accor hotel groups and Corporate Security Manager (Papua New Guinea) for the Southern Pacific Hotels Corporation. Kim is a Licensed NSW Security Consultant holding Security Risk Management, Training and Assessment and WH&S qualifications in addition to being a registered NSW security trainer. Kim is a member of the Fire Prevention Association of Australia (FPAA) the Security Providers Association of Australia Ltd (SPAAL) and ASIS; he is a regular invited speaker at international security seminars and has been called before Australian Parliament Senate Committee hearings on Organised Crime as an expert witness on profiling and security within the aviation industry.
